Privacy Policy

At Emisor FEL we take privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it and which third parties are involved in the service.

1. Information we collect

We collect the information needed to provide the service: your company data (NIT, NRC, company name), your customers' data in the documents, your contact information, your account configuration and basic technical data (IP address and browser) to protect the platform.

2. Use of information

We use your information to operate the platform, issue and transmit your tax documents, provide support and keep your account secure. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for commercial purposes.

3. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and tracking technologies for technical and security purposes (maintaining your session and protecting the platform). With your consent we may use third-party audience measurement tools to understand how the site is used; you can decline them without the service stopping to work.

4. Third-party providers

To operate the service we use cloud infrastructure and service providers, including Amazon (storage and email delivery through Amazon SES and Amazon S3), Cloudflare (content delivery network and site protection) and Google tools for email and audience measurement. These providers process data only to provide their services and have their own privacy and security policies.

5. Cloud security

Data is stored in our providers' secure data centers with encryption at rest. Communications with the platform travel encrypted (SSL/TLS). We apply role-based access controls and activity logs to prevent unauthorized access.

6. Ministry credentials

Your Ministry of Finance access credentials are stored securely and are never shown to third parties.

7. Document retention

Your documents (JSON and PDF) are stored while your subscription is active. When you cancel, we deliver all your files and you keep an extra year of access so you can store them as required by law.

8. Data retention

We keep your account data while the subscription is active and for the legally required period. Technical log data is deleted when it is no longer needed for the security and operation of the service.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will notify you of important changes by email.
