Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of the Emisor FEL platform. By using the service you agree to the conditions described below.
1. The service
Emisor FEL is an electronic invoicing (DTE) platform that generates, signs and transmits tax documents to the Ministry of Finance of El Salvador, according to the current schema. The platform launches on September 1, 2026.
2. Account and responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of your company data and your Ministry credentials. Keep your access information secure and notify us of any unauthorized use. Use of the platform is at your own responsibility and in accordance with applicable tax law.
3. Subscriptions and payments
Prices are stated in US dollars. Plans are offered as monthly or yearly subscriptions and renew automatically while the subscription is active. Plan changes, cancellations or expirations are processed according to the plan you contracted. We also offer one-time payments for specific services, which are charged once at the time of purchase and do not renew automatically.
4. Payment gateways
Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways and providers (including Visa and Mastercard cards, bank transfers, USDT, Bitcoin and WISE). By making a payment, the corresponding provider's terms of service and privacy policy also apply. We do not store or have access to your card details; that data is processed directly by the payment provider.
5. Refunds
For monthly subscriptions, the billed month is not refundable once the period has started. For yearly subscriptions, you may request a pro-rated refund for the unused time if you request it within the first 14 days of the purchase and have not issued documents. One-time payments for services already provided are not refundable. Refund requests are handled through soporte@emisorfel.com .
6. Messaging and communications
We may send you transactional emails (notifications, payment confirmations, receipts and important account notices) and, with your consent, commercial communications. Transactional notices cannot be disabled because they are necessary for the service; commercial communications can be cancelled at any time.
7. Third-party terms
The service depends on external providers (payment gateways, messaging services and cloud infrastructure) and on the Ministry of Finance platforms. By using Emisor FEL you also accept the terms of those third parties where applicable. Emisor FEL is not responsible for interruptions caused by these providers.
8. Security
All information is transmitted and stored in a protected way. We apply role-based access controls and activity logs to prevent unauthorized access. Your Ministry credentials are stored securely and are never shown to third parties.
9. Document retention
While your subscription is active, we securely store your JSON and PDF files. When you cancel, you keep an extra year of access and we deliver all your files so you can store them and comply with the retention period required by the Ministry.
10. Updates
When the Ministry of Finance updates its schema, updates are included in your monthly payment with no additional charges while the subscription is active.
